Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews are investigating what caused a fire that destroyed a home in Tampa on Thursday morning.
Crews responded to the call around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.
The 2,000 square foot home is considered a total loss. Officials say the family who lives in the home is currently on vacation in Jamaica. There were no injuries reported in the fire, however, two cats are unaccounted for at this time.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue continues to investigate the cause of the fire.
