VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Heart stopping body camera footage shows police officers and sheriff's deputies working tirelessly to save a man trapped in a burning car in Volusia County.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office shared the video on their Facebook.
"Early this morning, Edgewater police officers and Volusia County sheriff's deputies pulled a crash victim from a burning vehicle involved in a head-on crash with a wrong-way driver on I-95," the post said. "The other driver was killed, but these law enforcement officers were able to pull this young man to safety so he could get to a hospital."
The driver was listed in critical condition at the time of the post. The sheriff's office says the crash is being investigated by Florida Highway Patrol.
