Expect a much lower rain chance to start your new work week compared to the soaking a lot of us saw today. Drier air aloft will keep our storm coverage around 30% with the sea breeze moving onshore in the late morning.
Coastal areas will start with the rain chance early, with a shift inland in the afternoon. The southwest wind continues through Tuesday with a 40% chance of rain. By mid-week, we see the southwest wind switch around to the southeast and that will change the timing of the rain up beginning Wednesday.
High temps will reach the low 90s Monday and Tuesday, but with the later arrival of the showers and storms with the southeast wind, temps will return to the mid 90s starting Wednesday.
