While Friday’s Valentine’s Day forecast calls for sunshine and warm weather, rain chances will rise late Sunday into Monday as a front moves through the area.
Rainfall timing varies across forecast models, with some indicating showers could affect the Daytona 500 on Sunday afternoon. Beyond the weekend, long-range outlooks keep temperatures above 70 degrees with only scattered rain chances. Phillips also noted that as the dry season continues, Tampa Bay could see an increased risk of “super fog” if brushfire smoke and fog coincide in the months ahead.
