PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla — The U.S. Coast Guard Sector St. Pete found two missing boaters who were last seen leaving Charlotte Harbor on Tuesday.
Andreas Gabriel Kirchberger and Kenneth Thomas Reutzel were last seen heading for Tarpon Springs to avoid Hurricane Milton.
The boat they are traveling on, the Helderberg/Queen Milania, was found by Air Station Miami crew around 50 miles off Gasparilla Pass operating under its own power.
According to USGC, the vessel appeared to be headed back home around 12:30 a.m. on Friday.
