PLANT CITY, Fla. — A teenager missing since Saturday was found in Broward County with a man she allegedly met online.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said the 13-year-old was last seen on Sept. 14 in the 3900th block of Sparky Lane in Hillsborough County.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said the girl left her home near Keane Road and McGee Road without permission between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.
HCSO then located her in Broward County with Edward Rodriguez, 38, a man she met online. She was found safe on Sept. 17.
Rodriguez is facing one count of interference with child custody, and more charges could be forthcoming, according to HCSO.
