ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A five-year-old boy who was hit by a car on Sunday is recovering and in "good condition" Monday morning, officials said.
The St. Petersburg Police Department (SPPD) said the boy was seriously injured after the accident, which occurred at 18th Ave S. and Prescott St S.
According to SPPD, the child was taken to Johns Hopkins All Children's.
The driver stopped and cooperated with law enforcement.
18th Ave S. was closed to traffic from 16th Street to 17th Street during the investigation.
