CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla — The Citrus County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) is investigating a plane crash.
CCSO said they are investigating a plane crash that occurred on Tuesday near Ft. Island Trail Park in Crystal River. One person died as a result of the crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is currently on site conducting its own investigation. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will arrive on Wednesday to investigate the crash as well.
