TAMPA, Fla. — According to the Tampa Police Department (TPD), a man is dead after being hit by a car at the intersection of N. nebraska Ave and E. Robson St. Saturday morning.
TPD says they responded at around 4:19 a.m. and arrested 23-year-old Armahnee Edwards, who "showed signs of impairment" at the scene.
She was driving a 2019 Hyundai Elantra and was charged with one misdemeanor count of Driving Under the Influence with Property Damage or Personal Injury and one felony count of Driving While License Canceled, Suspended or Revoked (Death or Serious Bodily Injury).

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said a 6.1 magnitude earthquake was reported off the coast of Cuba around 2 p.m. on June 8. Viewers and residents around the Tampa Bay area have reported feeling the earthquake.
