PASCO COUNTY, Fl;a — Fire crews with Florida Forestry and Pasco County Fire continued to battle the wildfire in Key Vista Park in Pasco County.
According to the Florida Forest Service - Withlacoochee (FFS-Withlacoochee), they are battling a wildfire off of Baillies Bluff Key Road in Key Vista Park. FFS-Withlacoochee responded to the fire around 1 p.m. Thursday.
As of 8:30 p.m. on April 24, FFS - Withlacoochee reported that the fire is 40 acres and 50 percent contained. Baillies Bluff Road is closed, according to officials.

Juan Carlos Porras (R-Miami) says it may be time to do away with homeowners associations altogether, as more Floridians speak out about rising fees, costly lawsuits, and even arrests tied to HOA disputes. He said this week that he is considering filing legislation in the next session that would abolish HOAs statewide.
