ST. PETERSBURG, Fla — Police arrest teen for death of mother's alleged boyfriend.
The St. Petersburg Police Department (SPPD) said they were called to a home at 3019 51st Avenue South around 3:45 p.m. Thursday for a death investigation. In the home, police said they found a man identified as Otis Moore, 54, with blunt-force trauma to his upper body.
Through investigation, police were able to identify Jha'Quel Maynor, 19, as the suspect in the death.
Police say that Maynor allegedly got into a fight with Moore, who is his mother's boyfriend, that led to his death.
SPPD arrested Maynor for 1st-degree murder.
