  • GoPasco Public Transportation resumed regular bus services on Friday, Oct. 11, but routes Routes 25 and 18 are closed due to flooding

PINELLAS COUNTY

  • The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) plans to resume service on Saturday, Oct. 12

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport

  • PIE is planning to reopen on Saturday, October 12th.
  • All businesses will reopen at the terminal.
  • Rental car operators reopened Friday.

  • Schools will reopen on Monday, Oct. 14

    • Polk State College will reopen on Monday, Oct. 14.

    South Florida lawmaker Rep. Juan Carlos Porras (R-Miami) says it may be time to do away with homeowners associations altogether, as more Floridians speak out about rising fees, costly lawsuits, and even arrests tied to HOA disputes. He said this week that he is considering filing legislation in the next session that would abolish HOAs statewide.
