HOLIDAY, Fla. — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is looking for a suspect who shot a victim during an argument on Friday.
The incident occurred at about 5 p.m. in a Corona Drive area home in Holiday.
An argument between two men escalated to where one man shot another, PCSO officials said.
The victim received a non-life-threatening injury.
Deputies arrived and called for the residents to exit the home. Six people exited and were interviewed.
The shooting suspect fled before deputies arrived and his identity is currently unknown.
No other information was made available.
An update will be provided when it was available, PSCO officials said.
“You know, it might just be time we take a look if HOAs are really even necessary.
Maybe we should just do away with homeowner associations as a whole.”
South Florida lawmaker Rep. Juan Carlos Porras (R-Miami) says it may be time to do away with homeowners associations altogether, as more Floridians speak out about rising fees, costly lawsuits, and even arrests tied to HOA disputes. He said this week that he is considering filing legislation in the next session that would abolish HOAs statewide.
