ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — Deputies released the name of a man who was found shot and killed in the middle of the road in Zephyrhills Thursday.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said the man was found shot in the area of Stillman Street and Calvin Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 13.
The victim has been identified as Thomas Cook, 55. PCSO said that the family waived Marsy's Law protections that protect victims of crime names from being released publicly in hopes of finding the suspect who did this.
Deputies also located a motorized electric wheelchair scooter, which belonged to Cook.
