HILLSBOROUGH CO., Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said a man was seriously injured after he entered a work zone and crashed into a truck on I-75 in Hillsborough County.
FHP said a Mercedes GLC300, driven by a 44-year-old Brandon man, was traveling northbound on I-75 shortly before 11 p.m. on Jan. 29.
According to the report, the driver entered a construction work zone near mile marker 263 and collided with a stationary Ford F350 within the closure.
FHP said the driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.
