HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla — A man who was stabbed to death after an argument in the Fish Hawk community has been identified by deputies.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO), a lawn care professional and postal worker got into an altercation near the 5600 block of Tanagerlake Road around 1:02 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies said the argument was over a vehicle's parking position on the street.
HCSO said that the victim, Jacob Whitaker, 29, was stabbed during the altercation and died.
"We are shocked and saddened by this violence and have nothing more to add, as it is currently under investigation," Lecia Hall with the United States Postal Service said in a statement.
HCSO said that no charges have been filed at this time, and the investigation remains active.
