SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. — Sarasota County deputies are investigating a shooting involving two vehicles Saturday night near Turner and Church Streets.
According to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, both drivers fled the scene. One car is a BMW and the other is a green vehicle.
The incident happened just after 7 p.m.
Police are seeking a person of interest, but no one is in custody.
This is an ongoing investigation.

Juan Carlos Porras (R-Miami) says it may be time to do away with homeowners associations altogether, as more Floridians speak out about rising fees, costly lawsuits, and even arrests tied to HOA disputes. He said this week that he is considering filing legislation in the next session that would abolish HOAs statewide.
