TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. — The Temple Terrace Police Department (TTPD) said Thursday officers have arrested the 25-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Officers took Bryan Oyanguren Rosado into custody in connection with the child abduction, sexual assault investigation shortly after 10 p.m. on March 4.
TTPD said officers responded to the Doral Oaks Apartment Complex to a report of a missing 13-year-old girl at around 6 p.m. on March 2.
The teen was with several other juveniles when they were approached by a man in a silver or grey Nissan Altima. TTPD said the man asked the group if they could buy food from Burger King in exchange for money. Most of the group declined, but the 13-year-old consented.
The teen was seen on security footage at the Burger King at 8755 N. 56th Street.
The teen then returned to the apartment complex and met the man to deliver the food he had requested. TTPD said the man forced the teen into the vehicle and left the area.
As police were searching for the 13-year-old, she returned to the apartment complex around shortly before 9:30 p.m.
The teen told police the man forced her into the vehicle and sexually assaulted her before returning her to the apartment complex, per TTPD.
The City of Temple Terrace provided a photo of the suspect in the case on March 4.
