TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. — The Temple Terrace Police Department (TTPD) said it is looking for a man accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
TTPD said it first responded to the Doral Oaks Apartment Complex to a report of a missing 13-year-old girl around 6 p.m. on March 2.
The teen was with several other juveniles when they were approached by a man in a silver or grey Nissan Altima. TTPD said the man asked the group if they could buy food from Burger King in exchange for money. Most of the group declined, but the 13-year-old consented.
The teen was seen on security footage at the Burger King at 8755 N. 56th Street.
The teen then returned to the apartment complex and met the man to deliver the food he had requested. TTPD said the man forced the teen into the vehicle and left the area.
As police were searching for the 13-year-old, she returned to the apartment complex around 9:23 p.m.
The teen told police the man forced her into the vehicle and sexually assaulted her before returning her to the apartment complex, TTPD said.
Police are still attempting to identify the suspect. He is described as a slender white male with a blonde or sandy-colored ponytail and a reddish blond beard. He identified himself as Brian or Ryan.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Temple Terrace Police Department at 813-989-7110.
