ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The St Petersburg Police have identified remains found inside a St. Petersburg home following a fire.
Pinellas-Pasco County Medical Examiner's Office identified the remains found inside the home of Kelli Fisher.
Fisher went missing on July 16. She left her home, which is next door to the home where the house fire broke out, in her aunt's car and never returned. The fire happened at a residence located at 1720 Prescott Street South on Monday.
According to SPPD, the family told authorities that she would sometimes visit the house.
Police continue to investigate and call the investigation ongoing and active.
“You know, it might just be time we take a look if HOAs are really even necessary.
Maybe we should just do away with homeowner associations as a whole.”
South Florida lawmaker Rep. Juan Carlos Porras (R-Miami) says it may be time to do away with homeowners associations altogether, as more Floridians speak out about rising fees, costly lawsuits, and even arrests tied to HOA disputes. He said this week that he is considering filing legislation in the next session that would abolish HOAs statewide.
